First it was Puppies in a dumpster…. now it’s Kittens!

AHHHHHH I am horrified!
Folks, I am horrified to hear the news that 5 kittens were dumped in dumpster to die. First it was puppies, now its kittens. Thank GOD they were found. Who the hec did this? What horrible and twisted person would be so cruel? They were found by Dawn Serrano when she was walking her dog last night (March 30th) and she heard meowing from a box behind a dumpster at a Lutheran Church near 1900 East and 2900 south. They were found in a diaper box, waterlogged (because of the snow). They are only five weeks old. Salt Lake County Animal Control Officer Michelle Jones took them and is now fostering them for the next 3 weeks. The kittens will go up for adoption when they are old enough to be held at the animal shelter. PLEASE FOLKS, IF YOU CAN..... ADOPT ONE OR TWO! UGH! This person needs to rot in hell for leaving these innocent animals to die. UGH! My heart is aching! Thank GOD animal cruelty is now a felony.... the only problem is catching the heart-less scum who did this. Excuse me while I go put a hole in the wall of the studio.

I totally agree Artie. Thank you for standing up for the animals
They also need to find the scum that threw the dog off the overpass last week.
I totally believe the quote by gandhi:
“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated”. Mahatma Gandhi

Please spay and neuter your pets!
I own my own pet grooming shop. I have had 13 kittens dropped off on my porch in the last 2 years as well as a pupppy and a rat in a paper bag. I have them spayed or neutered and get a first set of shots in them, and adopt them out. I’ve worked with two vets over the years Dr. Doug Folland and Dr. Jim Wilson. They’ve given me reduced cost care and even some free services for these strays. Go to"The Big Fix” for vet care and neutering, they are a non-profit org. that provides low cost spays, neuters and shots. Look them up at Utahpets.org.
