A hour of new muisc and someties whatever else I want to play Monday's from 11p to midnight.
Metro Station “Shake It” - This song is really kind of poppy and dancy but not really that cool. I don’t get why I like it but whatever. Why do I love when my soul gets crushed everytime. It pays to be deep, just ask the next band.
Brand New “Milestone” - I can sing this song really great in the shower actually, not so good while in the studio but it is track number 2 on their album “God and the Devil Are Raging Inside Me.” Cafe Rio is the only thing raging inside me.
Morrissey “That’s How People Grow Up” - This is from the Moz’s upcoming greatest hits album but it is a new song so not really tested as a greatest hit yet. I don’t know if that is irony or a trick to make me pay $0 dollars when I steal yet another Morrissey greatest hits offline. Officially out on Feb. 12.
Collin Meloy of The Decemberists “Everyday is Like Sunday” - On good Morrissey song deserves another and as if more dramatic downtroddeness needed to be wailed into one of the Moz’s songs this drama kid can do it.
The Helio Sequence “Keep Your Eyes Ahead” - So this band’s singer damaged his chords and ended up relearning to sing to Bob Dylan songs. I learned to overthrow the goverment by listening to Bob Dylan so it looks like we both failed. New album “Keep Your Eyes Ahead” out on Feb. 29th.
Zox “Goodnight” - So cool, like kids that smoked only to get lung cancer in their 30’s and have to get a hole in their neck to breathe. So stop smoking or your band will have to break up and you won’t be as sly as Zox.
The Ramones “The KKK Took My Baby Away” - Cause I can and the original is better than the MXPX cover. RAWWWWK!
Ludo “Love Me Dead” - I don’t know about you but the message of this song sounds like a real bad idea.
Radiohead “Bangers & Mash” - This is from the B-sided if you spluged and orded the boxset of “In Rainbows.” Bangers and mash aren’t really that good.
Horrorpops “Thelma and Louise” - NOFX wrote the best songs about this Louise woman but this song is okay. I am not sure how many more reference I can hear about this film before I actually have to see it. I mean I just watched Road House. The things I do for this job.
Bird and the Bee “Polite Dance Song” - Not as good as “Can I Be Your F**king Boyfriend” but good. Great two player band. Get all their stuff.
