A review by todd nuke 'em
I was excited for the movie Stop Loss, because it appeared that it would shed some light on the Iraq war and show us some of the unfortunate circumstances surrounding soldiers who were about to get discharged. Instead it was a cast of way-too-pretty actors behaving one-dimensionally. The problem was a bad script to begin with, and a plot that didn’t really know where to go. There are some excellent performances by Ryan Phillippe and Joseph Gordon-Leavitt, but some of the cast could not act very well. Channing Tatum didn’t convince me of much of anything, other than he had Abercrombie & Fitch-model good looks, complete with perfectly bleached teeth. In fact, the entire cast was so good looking that I was bothered by it. I nearly laughed out loud when there was a scene featuring one of the hunky soldiers in the hospital recovering from a horrible explostion in which he lost his eyes and a good portion of his face. His teeth, however, were actor hunk-white and in beautiful condition, despite the intense tissue damage to his face. Real people just aren’t this beautiful. The pretty-boy cast really upstaged the film. I had to quit eating my popcorn because I was afraid that it would make me fat.
The one quality of this movie is the fact that it reminded me of the sacrifices that our brave men and women make, no matter the situation, no matter the risk. Our soldiers deserve our highest amount of praise for the job they do so well, no matter what.

A brief review.
I got the new CD from Panic at the Disco and I hate to admit that I was impatiently waiting for it to end when I listened to it. It’s like they decided to do anything besides have catchy little songs that we’ll want to listen to. They did their best to sound like the Beatles. No…not the Beatles. It was like when the American Idol contestants had to sing Beatles songs. The pretentious second album by Panic at the Disco is in stores now. Listen this weekend for a Deep X-Cut Weekend. We’ll play a few other tracks from the new Panic at the Disco CD so you can get a taste of it before you buy it.

This is the sort of nonsense you’ll get if you elect to watch the video feed from our studio. I can’t help but play with toys and act like an idiot on the camera. You should check it out if you haven’t already.
