I’m Sorry About Katy Perry.

I was wrong.

Please accept my sincere apologies for ever playing Katy Perry on X96. I got the full album and finally listened to the entire thing. I may as well have played Miley Cyrus or Avril Lavigne or Britney Spears. I was completely misguided by the “rock remix” of “I Kissed A Girl” that the record company sent to us. I was bamboozled by the hype machine that portrayed her as an alternative artist when they claimed she was on the Warped Tour. Pure sugar-coated garbage! I’m embarassed that I played the song even once on X96. They claim that she is 23 years-old. I find that highly dubious. The touched up photos on the album make her look my age at least. Anybody remember Milli Vanilli?

It's our company's Lagoon Day!

Today our parent company, the locally owned Simmons Media, is having Lagoon Day! That means I get to ride Wicked with Artie Fufkin and eat at the Big Horn Terrace with all of my co-workers. Wahoo!
