Go To Hell, Eliot Spitzer!

If you’re wondering why I am delighted with the alleged prostitution scandal with New York governor Eliot Spitzer, you should first be aware of the absurd paranoia that he unleashed on the music business and broadcast industry.  A few years ago when he was the Attorney General for New York, he launched major investigations into radio stations accepting money and other favors from record companies in exchange for playing their artists.  This has always been illegal because the airwaves belong to the public.  He made such a stink about it that it freaked out broadcasters and record companies to the point that it became nearly impossible for a record company to even promote their bands.  There were big fines and settlements to the tune of millions of dollars that resulted from this.  Lawyers for record companies and radio stations then did what lawyers do ... and that is create a myriad of red tape and regulations in the relationship between each entity.  Basically, he made my life a living hell of stupid paperwork.

He also launched similar investigations into insurance companies and other businesses, claiming that there was corruption and dishonesty.  It was a bunch of political grandstanding, and he portrayed himself as a crusader against illegal and immoral activities.  Ha!  I laugh in his prostitution-patronizing face!

While asserting that guys like were engaged in illegal activities, here he was allegedly paying huge amounts of money for sex.  Therefore it is my hope that he fries in hell for a long time and loses all credibility in his current and future political career.  What a gigantic ass-hat.

I welcome his personal and professional downfall.
