X96 Big Ass Show 2008

We’re already working on preparations for the 2008 X96 Big Ass Show. We must have decent weather this time, that’s for sure. So far we have some good options for bands, and we will likely move the event to USANA Amphitheater. This will keep costs down and make it possible for us to crank the sound up. Please post any comments you have for bands you’d like to see.

I think that you should try and get some of the bigger names like you did two years ago. Some that I think would be great would be Rise Against, Story of the Year, Three Days Grace,& Yellowcard. Thanks, you guys rock!

Madina Lake would be cool. My best friend and I have been trying to see them for about a year, they were supposed to go to another concert that we went to but didn’t. Then they ended up going to the big ass show last year when we couldn’t go.

Hoping we can make it outside once again, this year. Not sure if any of these bands will be chosen, but these are my favourites based on live performance =)
OUR LADY PEACE [I’ve seen GUYS cry because they were so touched by their performance. Amazing, amazing, amazing.]
LESS THAN JAKE [seriously… I know they’re coming here in July, but many, many fans won’t be making it out to Magna, including me, and being a fan for seven years… I’d really LOVE to see them play!

Jimmy Eat World / Sum 41 - both were on last year, and both put on incredible performances - even better than The Used… which was sad, but true :(

Hawthorne Heights has posted on there myspace that they will be playing at USANA Amphitheater on sep. 27th. That may be the big ass show!!!!
