Yes, it’s already basketball time again and yes, it’s a preseason match. As you can tell from the video below, we’re doing very well against the Suns, so go root on the Jazz and get the morale going strong into the season. And drink beer.

St. Lucia, also known as Jean-Philip Grobler, is a South African-born, Brooklyn-based musician and is certainly know for his remixes of Passion Pit, Foster the People and more. Come out and dance to the infectious sounds of St. Lucia when their tour in support of their new album, Matter, hits. BAIO will also perform – who’d you know as a member of Vampire Weekend.d

Mark Slaughter continues to flllllyyyyyyy, flllllyyyyyyy into Sandy Stationionon…and to the angels. Though, it’s on Slaughter’s website, but I can’t find any details on anything for Sandy Station, so maybe it’s happening – maybe not.
•Radio From Hell’s Not Safe For Work Mixer at The Ruin
Sugarhouse is on the move with lots of new places to eat and meet your Tinder or Bumble date. Well, we don’t want to be left out of a good party so Radio From Hell is throwing a Sugarhouse social at The Ruin. You need to RSVP because space is limited and you must be 21 and over because of the law.
•Cute is What We Aim For at Kilby Court
For those of you not at the age of libating legally, you can head to Kilby Court for some serious Hot Topic hot rock with Fueled By Ramen heartthrobs.
•Weber State University’s Drag Charity Ball
This year’s drag show will be the culmination of the 2nd annual Weber State LGBTQ Pride Week, hosted by and featuring performances from the Imperial Rainbow Court of Northern Utah, this charity event will be raising funds to benefit Youth Futures, a shelter for homeless youth. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted and attendees are encouraged to bring cash to tip the performers, with all funds given going to benefit Youth Futures. Weber State University Davis Campus, Building 3 Ballroom (2750 University Park Blvd., Layton). Sponsored by Weber State LGBT Resource Center, Weber State Diversity and Inclusive Programs, Imperial Rainbow Court of Northern Utah, and the Wildcat Gender and Sexuality Alliance.

If you’ve ever caught The Moth Radio Hour while driving home on a weekend evening, then you get the idea behind The Bee. My heart certainly is pained by the fact that DFA1979 and Of Montreal have to be on the same night. Straight outta Georgia, I can’t really put into words what your eyes will see at an Of Montreal show because it’s always different and art and a big, beautiful mess – another solid show.
