I kinda skimmed over this earlier today, but after seeing a video of Jimmy Fallon singing Desire on Youtube, I was suprised that he did a decent job! Of course, he’s no Bono, but still! Jimmy Fallon says he completely understands why U2 had cancel their week-long residency on NBC’s “Tonight Show.” Bono was injured in a bicycle accident and will undergo surgery for an injury to his arm.
There is a very large part of me that hopes he was riding THIS bike at the time.
When it came time for the “Tonight Show’s” musical guest, Fallon decided to have a little fun. He donned a hat and a pair of sunglasses, and strapped on a guitar and teamed up with his house band the Roots. Honestly, I think he nailed it.
