12 Tours You Need To See This Fall

Looking for some shows to attend this fall? Want to find new music? Here are twelve shows happening this fall that we want to let you in on. If there’s something we missed, let us know!

1. The Maine “Free For All Tour”

As a way to say “Thank You” to their fans, and to simultaneously support their most recent album, American Candy, The Maine have announced a string of FREE shows that they will be playing at select venues throughout the states. Our very own 50 West Club will be a stop on this tour. Again, this show is 100% FREE, so don’t miss out on this opportunity!

2. Twenty One Pilots “Blurryface Tour”

Twenty One Pilots will be coming this fall to support their most recent masterpiece, blurryface, which also happens to be one of the best-selling alternative albums of 2015. Echosmith will also be opening. Unfortunately, tickets are SOLD OUT. Keep an eye out in case more tickets open up, this is a band you will want to see!

3. Brandon Flowers

In support of his recent release, The Desired Effect, Brandon Flowers will be bringing his solo tour to The Complex on September 28. This show is just the thing to hold over you Killers fans until they come back with new music. Until then, enjoy these new jams by the frontman, Brandon Flowers.

4. CHVRCHES “Every Eye Open Tour”

Come and celebrate the release of CHVRCHES’ new album, Every Eye Open, at The Complex on October 21st. A majority of the new album was written on the road with their live shows in mind. Not only should prove to be fun to hear their new material, but this should also elevate their older tunes as well.

5. New Politics/Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness “The Wilderness Politics Tour”

New Politics – Wacky, Eccentric, Danish Rock n Roll & Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness – New synth-pop solo project from former Jack’s Mannequin & Something Corporate frontman Andrew McMahon. The two bands will be teaming up to bring you their “The Wilderness Politics Tour,” stopping by the Complex on Friday October 23rd. They will be bringing along The Griswolds & LOLO as support. This show will be held in The Grand, which holds approximately 900 people. So get your tickets fast, before they’re gone!

6. The Wonder Years/Motion City Soundtrack

Pop-Punk legends of old (Motion City Soundtrack) and new (The Wonder Years) are combining forces to bring you another exciting co-headlining tour this fall. The happy-go-lucky, 80s influenced Motion City Soundtrack will be promoting their new album, Panic Stations (available 9/18), while Punk heralds The Wonder Years will be promoting their new album, No Closer To Heaven (available 9/04). You could expect a lot of new music on this tour. For support, they will be bringing along State Champs, who just finished a tour with Pop-rock stars 5 Seconds Of Summer, and You Blew It!

7. Collective Soul “The See What You Started Tour”

The men of Collective Soul could easily live out the rest of their days comfortably riding their international success of the 90s. However, they are coming back to The Complex with a new album, titled See What You Started By Continuing (Available 10/02). Come celebrate Halloween with these 90s rock legends.

8. All Time Low/Sleeping With Sirens “Back To The Future Hearts Tour”

It has been a good year for All Time Low, releasing the best-selling album of their career earlier in April, and they plan on keeping the momentum going this fall by doing a co-headlining tour with Sleeping With Sirens, who also released a new album earlier in February. UK Pop-Punk boys Neck Deep and Japanese rockers One OK Rock will be opening the show. The theme of the tour was inspired by the classic film Back To The Future, all the more reason to go to this show.

9. AP Tour feat. Mayday Parade

Alternative Press is rounding up the boys of Mayday Parade, Real Friends, This Wild Life, & As It Is and sending them on tour this fall. You can see them on their Salt Lake City stop at The Complex on Wednesday, November 4th. Mayday Parade will also be promoting their new album, Black Line (available 10/09)

10. Circa Survive “Juturna Ten Year Anniversary Tour”

Ten years ago, Circa Survive released their debut album, Juturna, thus creating a name for themselves in alternative/underground music and building a legacy that will inspire bands for years to come. This fall, Circa Survive will be celebrating the tenth birthday of their first album with a special anniversary tour, on which they will be playing Juturna from front to back along with other hits from their discography. Special guests – RX Bandits & Citizen will be coming along as well. This tour will be making its way to The Complex on Thursday November 5th.

11. Yellowcard/New Found Glory

Talk about nostalgia. Yellowcard AND New Found Glory will touring together on this co-headlining behemoth tour. This includes special guest Tigers Jaw. Get ready to rock out to your favorite pop-punk staple songs such as “Ocean Avenue”, “Only One”, “My Friends Over You”, and “All Downhill From Here.” Also, expect some newer material from Yellowcard’s newest release, Lift A Sail, and New Found Glory’s recent album, Resurrection.

12. Silverstein/Senses Fail

While we are on the topic of nostalgic co-headlining tours, Silverstein is coming back to Salt Lake and they are bringing along Senses Fail with other special guests: Hundredth & Capsize. This will be Silverstein’s third SLC stop in 2015, performing a sold out ten year anniversary (Discovering The Waterfront) show in February and commanding one of the largest crowds at Warped Tour, and Senses Fail’s second SLC show of 2015, also Warped Tour.
