Food Network star Guy Fieri officiated 101 gay weddings in Miami during the annual South Beach Wine & Food Festival. The host of “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” oversaw the nuptials at The James Royal Palm hotel, hosted by chef Art Smith, who is gay and married his partner in 2010. Smith, who is a Florida native and former chef to Oprah Winfrey and Gov. Bob Graham, announced the event in January when same-sex marriage became legal in the Sunshine State. He created a social media contest where the first 101 couples to tweet him with the hashtag #101gayweddings would be entered to get married at the hotel.
