An Awful Television Show

Supper Club with Tom Bergeron (the guy on the left is Tom)
I just stumbled upon this TV show last night on Planet Green a network dedicated to the environment. Here’s how their web site describes the program:
Introducing Supper Club
Each week, Supper Club lets viewers be a fly on the wall at a Hollywood dinner party, as Dancing with the Stars’ Tom Bergeron hosts a fabulous evening alongside a celebrity chef who cooks up a green meal, while four special celebrity guests break bread and discuss the latest news and events in the green movement.
I watched about 10 minutes of it and it was almost unbearable. Here’s a rough idea of the scintillating conversation during the bit I watched. The guests with Tom Bergeron were Ricky Schroder, you know, from Silver Spoons; Larry Elder, a talk radio host; Dr. Heidi Cullen from the Weather Channel; and Bruno Tonioli a judge on Dancing with the Stars.
Bruno: Well, humans are carnivores.
Ricky: Actually we’re omnivores. Humans are omnivores.
Tom : Omnivores? What’s that?
I’m sure I’ll watch Supper Club with Tom Bergeron again. The unintended comedy was delicious.

PRICKED!!!

I'm going back for more.
I received an acupuncture treatment yesterday. I’m not going to say much about it just yet because I’m having a few more treatments. Tye Hao Lu was the acupuncturist at Master Lu’s Health and Fitness Center in Salt Lake. I will only remark now...it felt great. More to come as I get pricked again.
Thanks for listening

Girly Stuff I Like
Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008 @ 11:03AM
This is just one example.
There are girly things I like. Real Simple Magazine is really designed for women, but I like it enough that I’ve decided to subscribe to it. I asked my wife it was okay and she said, “yes!” Real Simple is one of the few magazines that I go through, cover to cover, several times. I start at the beginning and go through to the end, skimming every page (even the ads) quickly. Then, I go start at the beginning again and stop at various ads or articles that I want to take in more fully. I linger on the recipes and on articles about organizing, decorating, or grooming products. About the only thing I don’t take in in Real Simple are the fashion articles. I’ve not much use for stories about how to buy a tankini or what shoes to wear with what summer dress. I don’t usually read the ones about how to stop fighting with your mother, or be a better mother, or how to be a hip mother either.
It got me to thinking though....guys, what girly things are you not afraid to admit you like? Let’s get a healthy discussion going here shall we? For instance, I’m an absolute fiend for a good pedicure. But more on these things later. Until then…
Thanks for listening,
Bill
