What Fun, Huh?
Share:Tuesday, November 25th, 2008 @ 11:51AM
Boy, people sure know how to have a good time, don't they?
So, sometime during the night last night, some fine citizens of our fair city had some fun on my front porch and in my neighborhood. They took a nice pumpkin off the front porch and smashed it in the neighbor’s front yard. They vomited on my brand new front steps. And, they scattered beer cans all over the place. Man, I only wish I’d been awake so I could have joined them. Could there be any better way to spend a night than drinking enough cheap beer to make me feel like I might be drunk and then smashing other people’s stuff? That was my kid’s pumpkin…one they picked out for their mother up at Black Island Farms. I guess the only thing that would have made the night better for the jolly revelers who did the deed would be if hey could have seen Little Mrs. Bill’s sad child face when she saw the shattered squash. That would have been bitchin’! I’m sure we’ll have some kind of snowman in the front yard latter this year that you all can knock down too.
Keep watching for that. We’ll try to put a lot of work into it so that it’ll really be fun for you.

The New Radio From Hell Show
Share:Tuesday, November 18th, 2008 @ 11:04AM
We promise to make our show look more like this in 2009.
We’re already doing less political commentary now that the presidential election is over. Now we’re going to dumb the show down even more.
Thanks for listening,

Utah Now Commentary
Share:Friday, November 14th, 2008 @ 12:28PM
On TV tonight.
I’m doing a commentary on Utah Now tonight on KUED Channel 7. I think it’s at 8:30pm. This was an interesting one to write and tape. Interesting to write because it’s about commercial radio, where I work every day to feed the family, and about public broadcasting. It was an interesting piece to tape too because we did it here rather than me going up to the Channel 7 TV studio for a taping.
It’s apparant, I think, that I’m much more comfortable here than I am at their place.
Thanks for listening,
Bill

A picture gift from Nate Jackson.
Nate said he saw this and thought of me. I guess because I wore a kilt to work yesterday. However, it is a pretty good likeness too. I’m not sure how Nate would know that though.

Favorite Breakfast Cereals
Share:Wednesday, November 12th, 2008 @ 2:21PM
This is what happens when you eat this crap.
Favorite Cereals, okay:
1.
This one is my all time favorite sugar cereal. A tooth killer. That’s Andy Devine on the box. He was a real cowboy star.
2.
This is my favorite “modern era” sugar cereal. I never eat it.
3. Cheerios is my go to cereal. I still eat it occasionally.
4. Shredded Wheat is good. I like the big, old fashioned hay bales of Shredded Wheat.
5. Grape Nuts: pretty tasty and good with raisins, then heated up with milk.
6. Any of the Chex cereals are okay by me.
7, Corn Flakes but you have to go easy on the milk or they instantly become a soggy mess.
8. Granola.
9. Raisin Bran.
10. King Vitamin because for years Kerry and I convinced people that I was the actor who’s face appeared on the box.
