This isn’t the first time Mylan chief executive Heather Bresch has been under fire. Bresch, who started out in a low-level position in quality control at one of the company’s factories, is the first female head of a large pharmaceutical company. She made a name for herself by turning the EpiPen – once an obscure injection device for allergy sufferers that she calls her “baby” — into a blockbuster billion-dollar drug. But the 47-year-old has found herself in the hot seat in recent weeks as consumers and lawmakers have expressed outrage over the rising cost of the drug and have called for investigations into the company’s pricing practices. While the mounting attacks may be enough to unnerve even the hardened chief executive, Bresch has a longer history than most of dealing with such issues and coming out (mostly) unscathed.

Boner Candidate #2: TRANSGENDER KEN AND BUTTER CREAM FROSTING

One bakery felt the heat after customers got a taste of its latest creation: a transgender Ken doll cake. The Sacramento, California, confectionery received an order last week for a pink-frosted cake topped with a Ken doll flaunting a tiara, bling and a dazzling pink gown. “It wasn’t that unusual, we do doll cakes all the time,” Marlene Goetzeler, co-owner of Freeport Bakery, told news station KTXL. But when the bakery shared a Facebook photo of the cake, it sparked an onslaught of comments from outraged customers. “Ken’s looking good,” the bakery captioned the post.

 Boner Candidate #3: WHAT THE “F” IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?

Leslie Jones, a co-star of this year’s “Ghostbusters” movie who has beenbesieged in the past month by online abusers who have targeted her appearance and her race, was victimized again on Wednesday when her personal website appeared to have been hacked. The hackers inserted a picture of the gorilla Harambe on the site, and exposed what appeared to be explicit photos of the actress, along with pictures of her driver’s license and a passport, and images of her with stars like Rihanna, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West. The website was taken offline after the hack, which was initially reported by TMZ.
