.....anyway.  New podcast episode is go!  In this episode the panel attacks the topic “Things we don’t get.” You ever see something Geek that just doesn’t fire your thrusters?  Then, you think about it more...and it puzzles you that ANYBODY likes it?  Yeah, us too.  Hope you all take this in the good hearted way its intended. Seriously, just because we dis’ a few scifi mainstays it doesn’t mean that we wont ever cover the topic on the podcast. It just means...well...as an example.....there are still those that don’t like the new BSG, and think the original series was better.  We still are friends with them and will gladly sit and drink with them.  So, anime’, Stargate,Thundercats, and Star Trek fans (what!?) please keep the seething to a low seeth.  Lissen, you’ll see what I mean.

Geek Show Podcast. State of the union address.

My fellow Americans. The state of the podcast is sound.

Its been bumpy, but I think we got it.  Thanks to all of you who weathered the early technical problems.  Damnedest thing, that.  First, one episode was lost in the negative zone. Gone forever. Then a couple of weeks ago the demands for downloads, coming all at once crashed our site 3 times in one day.  TOO MUCH LOVE (not that I’m complaining).  To facilitate the demand we upped the power on our website, then compressed the audio of the podcast itself.  Doing that made it so more people could hear a not so great audio quality podcast.

Our boy Zack, producer and miracle worker, has now finally made arraignments for both demand and audio quality.  At least he says so, and thats good enough for me.  We’ve got a lot of great things planned for the show in the coming months, and MAYBE JUST MAYBE a video portion for folks with mp3 video units.

BTW, I have heard your pleas and we are working on a gaming portion of the show.  It might not be weekly, but regular enough. 

Go to the podcast section and download away.  I promise you there will be technical problems in the future....just not as many.  Great, now Ive jinxed it.

You've won THIS round, technology! But, the war is FAR from over!!

Yeah, I know.  Here I am again, apologizing for another FAIL on the geek Show Podcast.  It was a good one too.  The theme was..."Things we don’t get..”.
Asking the question that has plagued man for ages.  Just whats so great about Stargate, anyway?  Oh, trust me.  It would have been glorious.  The angey fans of anime’, He-Man, and yes...Star Trek would have been throwing the panel and myself out of the airlock.  Guess you’ll never get to hear it.

But, I’d rather light a candle than curse the darkness.  First off, Zack thinks he knows what went wrong with the computer, so we will be back up to full thrusters by next Monday.  Second off, Derek and I met here at the studio, did a quick up to the minute Geek News and read some of your fine email.  Talked some Marvel movies and comics, and introduce a star studded golden moment.  Imagine the Geek Show panel, Dave Prowse (Darth Vader), Felix SIlla (Twiki, Cousin IT), Chase Masterson (Leeta, DS9) and Garret Wang (Ensign Kim, Voyager) all in the same room.  This is a recording of a Radio Geek Show from some time back.  All these scifi stars were in town for a convention and we had them in the studio. If you haven’t heard it, its new to you.  Again, sorry.  We will have this thing figured out soon.  Glad you all enjoy the show.  Thanks to all who download!
