For the longest time, its been Jews vs Arabs.  Republicans vs Democrats.  Yankees vs Red Sox.  And, Star Trek fans vs Star Wars fans.

WHY?  Thats my question.  WHy have we allowed it to come to this?  We at http://www.geekshowpodcast.com have asked this question, and we propose a peace summit.  Speaking for myself, I have always been a follower of both Trek and Wars.  Kirk is my God, and Luke is my Jesus.  Following their wisdom, experiences and fables have given me a more true moral compass than any preacher has given.  For some reason, geeks seem to think you have to be one or the other.  A Trek fan or a Wars fan.  The time has come, lets join hands together....and heal. Its FREE. Show you love by purchasing a burger or a beer. Tip your waiters.  We start at 5pm wit Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Kahn.  The greatest retelling of Moby Dick ever.  We learn the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few...or the one.  Then Star Wars: The Empire Strikes back.  Where we learn that some stories you have been told by your elders are not necessarily pin point accurate, and that kissing your sister...if you dont know its your sister...is okay if your trying to make another guy your hot for really jealous.

Anything happen while I was gone?

Sorry for not blogging in so long.

All this 5000 episode celebratio and ceremonies have kept me busy, not to mention geekshowpodcast.com.  I genuinely want to thank all of you FOP’s and Geeks for everything.  Mostly, listening ...or at least telling people you listen.  I have this reputation as being a bad natured s.o.b, and that is mostly true.  But not when it comes to you all.  A lot of people wrote and called and said ‘thanks for 5000 episode’.  Truthfully, it is you who needs to be thanked because if you didn’t listen/download.  I’d be out on the street talking to strangers about Star Wars.  I’d be really uncontrollable about it too because i couldn’t afford my meds.  “THERE IS ONLY ONE TRILOGY AND JAR JAR BINKS AINT IN IT, MAAAANN!!!”.  Ugly.  So, again..its you all who need to be thanked, from the bottom of my cold black heart.  You are the reason I get up at 3:30 every morning, and I thank you.  You are the reason I argue and fight with management about Boner Billboards, and I thank you.  You are the reason i have been able to do my dream job for over 20 years, and I sincerely thank you.
