http://dcu.blog.dccomics.com/2009/09/09/warner-bros-creates-dc-entertainment/  So, I’m trying to imagine a meeting of the Suits at Warner Bros. when they picked up the WallStreet Journal and read about the Marvel/Disney thing.  Was it..”Gawddamnit! F*ckin’ Disney, man! Always one step ahead!  Jeez….Lloyd!  Find me another comic book company with thousands of stories and beloved and well know characters that WE can make movies and TV shows and theme parks out of! ……..hey….whataminute!!!” Its a question that WE have asked many times on geekshowpodcast.com.  Why cant DC and the WB get its sh*t together?!  Well, I guess it takes getting kicked in the nuts by a mouse to wake some Suits up.  I’m sure that lowly ‘creative types’ have been asking their bosses the same thing for years.  Seems that suits only listen when another suit, with a powerpoint presentation, explains the obvious. Then that suit claims the idea for himself.  Meanwhile the ‘creative type’ lives in a cubicle filled dream killing office and thanks Crom he has a job.  Sickening.
