John McCain right?

I went to a wedding of a friend of mine this weekend. (Yet another one who beat me to the punch) While we (a collective we, not me and anyone else) were seeing what would taste best after being dipped in the obligatory chocolate fountain I looked over and saw…John McCain! Ok not THE John McCain…but dont you think he looks like him?

Later on in the evening (after we took this picture) we asked him to raise his hand higher than his shoulders.  Funny thing was…he couldn’t do it either.

Sundance Film Festival Feedback

January 15th-January 25th

Radio From Hell is getting ready for our annual enabling of the Sundance Film Festival.  In years past we have been at the festival for several days and been able to speak to filmmakers of various genres, backgrounds, and cultures.  We conducted all the interviews on the air “Live” and tried to visit with as many as we could. 

We are looking to improve our coverage of the Sundance Film Festival this year.  Please email me what you have liked in the past, what you would like us to differently, and any other sort of suggestions that would make our coverage of the Sundance Film Festival that much more enjoyable to listen to.

Skiing or Snowboarding

HELP

I have never skiied (sp?) or gone snowboarding before.  The School up at Snowboard has agreed to teach me this winter but I can’t decide which one that I would like to learn.  I have heard that both are pretty difficult to pick up, especially when you are as special-coordinated as I am.  So, which should I do?  Convince me. I can’t decide.

In the coming weeks there will be video available here at x96.com as I embark on the lessons and try to learn this fun winter sport…whichever it may be.

Going through some old emails

Not sure what I was thinking.

With the coming of the end of the year I have started to go through some old emails.  Most of the emails are from Friends of the Program who wanted to say hey, or ask about a particular segment, but occasionally I will find some sort of picture either of me or from my past. 

This particular email was from Matty Bear.  He was doing a photo shoot with the 1280 the Zone girls and I happened to drop by.  These pictures are the result.

I have lost a considerable amount of weight since these pictures. Thank goodness.

New headshots…!

Please tell me what you think.

Sheryl, a photographer friend of the program, took a couple headshots of me.  We took a bunch, but here are a couple.

1. Do I look tired?
2. Do you like the picture?
3. Which is the better of the two?

As I get a couple of more, i will post them and ask for more help.  Thanks in advance.
