Best Trip Ever

I now finally have the chance to blog about my trip to New York City.  I saw “In The Heights” “West Side Story” and “Next to Normal” in addition to a midnight show at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.  It was so much fun.  A special thanks to FOP Erin who hosted me. And to Jet Blue for making it so I didnt hate the flight out there.  BTW. The brownie..2400 Calories and it cost almost 9 dollars.  Worth every bit of the 2 hrs and 15 mins it took to work off the calories in that brownie!

Havasupai Falls

So my birthday was last Saturday.  I celebrated it like any 29 year old producer of the nations best radio show would, I was in the Grand Canyon. (Check a previous blog of mine for the rest of the pictures from the trip.)

One of the most memorable things that I did on my birthday was jump from Havasupai Falls….naked.  I planned it all out so that I would pass along my suit to “Big Intern” when I was directly behind the falls and then come out the other side of the falls wearing nothing but my tennies and a smile.  I did it and I’m glad.  For those that don’t believe me now you have proof with a picture.  My body was not photoshopped that is my actual manly physical physique.

I didn't ask his name...or if I did...I forgot

This morning on the radio I talked about how I witnessed a “possible” hit and run accident.  If you didnt get a chance to listen to it click here.  The nicest Wonder Bread driver asked me to hop up in his truck and see if there was anything in the truck that I wanted.  I didn’t need anything….BUT the Hostess cupcakes that I got were SO delicious.  I know the scout motto is “Do a good turn daily” but I would like to revise it just slightly to read.  “Do a good turn daily, get a cupcake”

Friendship Bracelets. (My only gift ON my birthday)

I am still pretty tired from my “Manventure” with Bill down to Havasupai.  My body is just kinda tired.  We had a great time.  Hopefully you have taken a second to check out Part 1 of the “Manventure” or have looked at the pictures from our trip. Back to doing a SHOOOOOWW.

Look for pictures and video on Monday

Bill and I are leaving in 3 minutes to go to Havasupai in the Grand Canyon (sleeping in Kingman Arizona tonight).  Its a big test for my interns while I am gone.  I will bring Bill back alive.  Should something happen I wish to be buried in a Fluorescent Pink casket with orange dingo balls around the side.  I wish for a Mariachi band at my funeral with a yoddler.  Loves and kisses.
