I guess I will do it. My Top 10 movies

Look Em Up

In no particular order
1. The Phone Call
Scott starts work at a drive-in burger and ice cream restaurant when his paper route proves inadequate to raise the money he needs for a mail order karate course. He has determined that this course will help him gain the self-confidence he needs to get up the courage to call and ask Pam out to see a movie. Although at first just commenting on his mistakes, Becky, a co-worker, offers to help him make the crucial phone call. In the process Scott offers insights about how Joe is abusive in his relationship with Becky.  Favorite Lines “Don’t press your luck, Joe”, “It’s a long walk, I have long feet”
2. Forrest Gump
We’ve all seen it.  It came out when I was in the 9th grade. To celebrate this movie coming out on video I had a party at my house, the cops came, I dressed up like Forrest Gump (pants, hat, shirt, the whole deal)
3. Back to the future
“Run for it Marty” “Hey you keep your damn hands off her” I used to cry at the point in this movie when Doc slips from the clock tower and hangs on from one hand.
4. Serendipity
Hopeless romantic, a plan for each of us to be with one specific person, and John Cusack.
5. The Notebook
A kiss in the rain, and Rachel McAdams!
6. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Shannon Doherty! Sarah Jessica Parker, tune in tokyo, and a dancing game show!
7. The Great Muppet Caper
The whole muppet gang. This was the first muppet movie I ever saw. I must have seen it a hundred times. I can remember watching it 3 times in one day growing up.
8. Indian Jones and the Temple of Doom
Oh dum she ba oh dum she ba.  nough said
9. Dumb and Dumber
Bought this movie on a band trip in 10th grade. Watched it on a bus on my way to the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. Had the best chicken noodle soup I have ever had on that trip.
10. Mallrats
O ye of little faith, wanna cookie?  Kids hanging out in a mall, a topless psychic, beating up the easter bunny, and a fake dating game show.

    Hold UP!  Waitasec!

your #10 movie is MALLRATS?  A “Hard-R” rated film?!  With the swearing, and the boobs?  This from a man who will *ONLY* see PG films?

Methinks your Devout Mormonism is a tad suspect, my friend.

I agree with the “Mallrat” comment, but then I’m also glad to see I’m not the only one that enjoyed “Girls Just Want to Have Fun”

I just wonder how long “Mallrats” is after it’s been ‘clean flick’-ed.

Richie are you sure your not gay? That list is pretty gay. Except for the Mallrats what the hell is up with that one?

Hold on, sunshine!  That list is not gay!  I can’t defend the first choice, but the rest of the movies are ones I remeber and have enjoyed.

Besides, when did Temple of Doom get to be considered gay?

You are correct sir not all of them are gay, it’s really just 4-7 that stand out. Actually it’s mostly just for Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.
