Fellowship of the Hell

So, I am looking forward to representing Radio From Hell a couple of times this week.  Tonight (Tues) I am giving a tour for a YMCA group through our station.  I think it is one of those “Show us what a radio station is like” kind of things.  I always enjoy that.  It is fun to have people peek behind the curtain and see what things are really like.  Also, it is fun to see the excitement people have for radio and encourage it.  That is one of the things that made me want to get into radio.

Growing up I was in a ward with someone who worked at KSOP. I remember going on a tour of a radio station.  We got to go in and actually be on the radio!  It was the coolest thing ever!  It wasnt one of those moments where I said this is what I want to do and made up my mind then and there.  It was just something that I remember.

The second chance I have to represent RFH is this Friday at the.....are you ready for this?  The Spanish Fork High School Career Fair!!!!!! Wahoo.  I get to speak to students about how cool working radio is and even further how cool it is to work here at X96.  Spanish Fork will be fun place.  The last time I did a career fair I met Kurt Hale (and subsequently got to be in Singles 2nd Ward) So who knows what may or may not come from this career fair.  The thing is, I just really likely talking to kids.  High school or college kids who think they might want to get into radio.  Thats why I love giving kids a chance with internships and I will never pass up an opportunity to speak to kids about my passions.  (ok that last part sounded pretty gay)
