‘Cathouse’ Owner Dennis Hof Dies At 72

Best know for all those times you snuck downstairs to watch HBO after your parents went to sleep

Dennis Hof, the Nevada brothel owner who became famous on the HBO series ‘Cathouse’, has died at the age of 72. Hof was found unresponsive on Tuesday after celebrating his 72nd birthday the night before at a party that was attended by Ron Jeremy and other celebrities. Hof had recently turned to politics and was running for state assembly after winning the Republican primary earlier this year. He also wrote a book titled “The Art Of The Pimp”. Three of Hof’s former prostitutes have accused him of sexual assault, but he was never charged.

There are so many ways to become famous in America. Maybe too many.
