*This calendar is mostly accurate. probably!
• Sundance Film Festival Kicks Off
34 years in, but who’s counting. Another year for Hollywood to explode across Park City and the surrounding areas and for the locals to pick up all the benefits. Movies by day. Parties by night.
• David Spade at Wiseguys Gateway
Comedian, author, movie star, Joe Dirt! For 2 nights only catch David Spade at Wiseguys downtown. 1 show tonight. 2 shows tomorrow. Oh, all shows are sold out, so why am I even writing this? Because, there’s always time to hit up the classifieds. 21+.
• Bill Engvall at the Dejoria Center
Where’s your sign. Oh, here it is. In Kamus.
• Morris Murdock Travel Show at Mountain America Credit Union
Breath in the air. Good. Now you know you really need a vacation in a place where there’s air you can’t taste, sad, tequila, water, and sand. Maybe an adults-only cruise? Either way, drop into the Morris Murdock Travel Show and find some new place to explore on the planet before we destroy it all.
• Bayside at Urban Lounge
Bayside is breaking out the acoustic gear to make you feel warm and fuzzy. So will the whiskey. 21+ show.
• All-Star Monster Trucks at Maverik Center
You can see the 10,000-pound All Star Monster Trucks up close, walk on the monster truck track, and meet your favorite drivers for FREE during the Pit Party! Pit Party starts 2 hours before each show and is absolutely free with your paid admission, no additional fees, no additional passes needed! Plus for the first time ever, see the 30-foot tall transforming robotic dinosaur TRANSAURUS eat a junk car and see local racers battle it out in the Pro Arena Truck Challenge!
• 2019 Polar Bear Plunge at Sheraton
Last year, our brave athletes & community friends took the plunge in Utah. The best part? After their bodies returned to 98.6°F and the donations were tallied, they raised more than $11,000 for Special Olympics Utah to support sports, competitions, and programs. Booyah! In 2019, we’ll raise even more!
• Radio From Hell: Lights, Camera, Brunch at Squatters
Sure! It sold out in 2 days, but there is still a chance to win tickets to this “Not Safe For Radio” Sunday meal by listening to Kerry, Bill, and Gina this week. Beer, Squatters beer, and “celebrities” will help you get into the film festival season.
• Pink Spiders at Urban Lounge
Also on the bill is Wicked Bears and Housewarming Party. 21+ Might be a “furry” think. I can’t be sure.
