The Calendar is brought to you by Live Nation!

Don’t miss Yung Thug and Machine Gun Kelly at Saltair on November 6th!

*This calendar is mostly accurate. probably!

• Max Bemis at Urban Lounge

Say Anything’s “…Is a Real Boy” is still one of my all-time favorite albums. It rode the coattails of emo and led up to the curb of scream-o’s house. After that, the magic didn’t hold. I haven’t really kept up with Max Bemis’ career since then, so I have to say that I am curious what he is doing now that he’s left Say Anything in the past. This tour has him playing songs from the “Oliver Appropriate” album (Say Anything’s final) for the first time live. 21+ show.

• Machine Gun Kelly at The Complex

MGK is on tour with Young Thug and has been moved to The Complex (thankfully). Also, Polo G and Strick will join them for all your Hump Day needs.

• King Niko at Velour in Provo

King Niko is celebrating their 10th anniversary with two shows, in two venues, over two nights. Tonight at the all-ages venue, Velour in Provo, and tomorrow night at The Urban Lounge, which will be a 21-and-over show.

• SLC Shred Fest 4.0 at Liberty Park

Because the snow can’t fly soon enough, we shall all gather at Liberty Park for two days and will it to happen. 4 years of Shred Fest and four winters it hath snowed! Coincidence? I think no. This year’s Fest features, “A Real Snow Rail Jam, Beer Fest, Film Screenings from TGR, Lumberjack Competition, Vendor Village, Yoga, Food Trucks, and our Headlining Act: The Lil Smokies!” Tickets are on sale for today and tomorrow.

• Bishop Briggs at The Complex

I feel as though I have been spending a lot of time at The Complex as of late, and for good reason. We’ve had an amazing fall for live music. Bishop Briggs takes the stage as she headlines her “Champion” tour with guests Miya Folick and Jax Anderson.

• Matt Maeson at Urban Lounge

His song “Cringe” came out of nowhere this year and went right to the top of the alt charts and now, he’s shooting right over to The Urban Lounge for this 21+ show. One catch…it’s sold out!

• The Aquabats at The Complex

From band to YouTube super celebs! One night only at The Complex with PPL MVR.

• Doug Benson at Wiseguys Gateway

He’ll get high, read his tweets out loud, and talk movies. People love him for it.

• Brian Regan at the Jon M. Huntsman Center

Oh…double comedy night in Salt Lake. Does our fair city have a strong enough funny bone to take it?
