Last Week Tonight host John Oliver never pulls punches about things that irritate him. Lately, for some reason, he has been targeting Danbury, Connecticut on his weekly show.
One of his statements was, “if you’re from (Danbury), you have a standing invite to come get a thrashing from John Oliver — children included — (expletive) you.”
Danbury’s mayor Mark Boughton didn’t take too kindly to Oliver’s words and responded.

In a video posted last weekend, Boughton said that the town had named a sewage plant after Oliver because “it’s full of crap” just like John.
Do you suppose Oliver will have something to say about this?
