While air travel has dropped sharply during the pandemic, apparently more people are bringing a gun to the airport. TSA says that the number of guns found at airport security checkpoints last month was triple the usual number – despite air travel being down by 75%.
In total, 300 guns were discovered in carry-on baggage in the month of July – including 27 incidents at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson airport.
