Thom Yorke did the dad thing recently, taking his daughter and her friends to see Billie Eilish in concert. Fortunately, he’s a fan of the singer. Speaking to the UK Times, the Radiohead frontman said of the show, “That was a fine moment,” adding, “I like Billie Eilish. She’s doing her own thing. Nobody’s telling her what to do.”

Yorke, however, didn’t enjoy everyone fawning over Sam Smith, who was seated behind them, calling him, “that guy who did the Bond song we didn’t do”, and telling the paper, “Everyone goes ‘Saaaam!’ I’m, like, ‘Aaaaargh!'” Radiohead had submitted a song for the Spectre soundtrack in 2015, but Smith got the gig instead.
