Life

Would you like to buy one of Nirvana’s microphones? Well, here ya go!

We’ve all got that friend right?  That guy who has the odd, one of a kind thing that everyone looks at and goes “how the HELL did you get that?!?!”

Well, now you can be THAT guy!

A cat by the name of Steve Albini worked as a record producer on Nirvana’s “In Utero” album.  Though he does not care for the title, he like to be called a “recording engineer”.  We all know a guy like THAT too..

Anywhoo, Albini is auctioning off three of the studio microphones that were used to make Nirvana’s final album.  The auction for all three authentic mics  is in conjunction with online marketplace Reverb.com.

The sale goes live on September 21st, which marks  24th anniversary of ‘In Utero’s’ release.  24 years..  Shit I’m old..
