Boner Candidate #1: IT’S A STRESSFUL JOB

MOULTON, Ala. — An Alabama firefighter who authorities say used heroin and other drugs while on duty faces multiple charges. News outlets report that 27-year-old Christopher Allen Henley with the Moulton Fire Department was arrested Wednesday and admitted to consuming narcotics during his shifts. The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department says deputies learned Henley was purchasing heroin from a dealer during an ongoing investigation of trafficking in the county. Sheriff Gene Mitchell says drug task force agents and deputies detained Henley at the start of his shift and learned that he had arranged for a drug dealer to come to the station for a transaction. Investigators found prescription drugs and paraphernalia in his vehicle.

Boner Candidate #2: MAYBE YOU SHOULDN’T CALL THE COAST GUARD IF YOUR BOAT IS LOADED WITH WEED

If you’ve got drugs aboard and are having battery issues on your boat, maybe you shouldn’t call the Coast Guard for help. That’s what happened in San Diego on Sunday morning, leading to the seizure of 1,200 pounds of marijuana, the US Coast Guard said Tuesday. The distress call came in over the radio to the Coast Guard from a person on the boat, who said they were having battery trouble. When members of the Coast Guard Cutter Sea Otter arrived to the boat, located southwest of Point Loma, they discovered more than an issue with a battery. Around 50 bundles of weed, weighing 1,200 pounds, were discovered during the inspection of the boat, the Coast Guard said.

Boner Candidate #3: THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE IS A HOT BED OF SEX

YORK, S.C. — Six deputies of a sheriff’s office in South Carolina have been disciplined for engaging in sexual conduct while on duty dating back to 2003, reports CBS Charlotte, N.C. affiliate WBTV. Documents provided to the station by the York County Sheriff’s Office in response to a Freedom of Information Act request show investigators discovered that one female deputy had sex with five different male deputies at various times while on the job. York County Sheriff Kevin Tolson said in a statement Wednesday that an anonymous complaint in late July triggered the investigation. Tolson says he fired Sgt. Jennifer Forsythe and Deputy Daniel Hamrick after they admitted to sexual encounters on duty between 2012 and 2017. Sgt. Wayne Richardson, Sgt. Buddy Brown and Capt. Carson Neely were suspended without pay for two weeks, and Lt. Brian Boling was demoted, all for sexual encounters with Forsythe.
