Scholastic said it has sold 3.3 million copies of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One and Two.” The “script book,” the eighth Potter book, is based on the play that opened in London’s Palace Theatre on July 30 and is written by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany and Jack Thorne.

Drummer sues Shaun White for sexual harassment
The former drummer from Shaun White’s band Bad Things has accused the two-time Olympic snowboarding gold medalist of sexual harassment over the course of several years. In a complaint filed in San Diego County on August 12, Lena Zawaideh claims White sent her sexually explicit and graphic images of male genitals, forced her to watch sexually disturbing videos including ones that “sexualized fecal matter,” and made sexual remarks to her.
Man arrested at Kendall Jenner’s home
Police in Los Angeles have arrested and charged a 25-year-old man accused of stalking the Hollywood home of model and reality TV star Kendall Jenner. Sgt. Leonard Calderon tells the Associated Press that Shavaughn McKenzie was arrested around 9:45 Sunday night. Calderon says Jenner pulled into the driveway of the residence and saw McKenzie, who he says attempted to talk to her. Police were then called.

RIP: John McLaughlin, storied political talk show host, dead at 89
John McLaughlin, longtime host of “The McLaughlin Group,” the Washington-based political talk show he created, died on Tuesday at age 89. McLaughlin missed an episode of his syndicated television show due to illness on Sunday. Pat Buchanan, a regular panelist, said it was the first episode McLaughlin had missed in the show’s 34 years on the air, according to the news site Deadline.
Letter from Muhammad Ali to Malcolm X up for auction
A draft of a handwritten letter by boxing legend Muhammad Ali to his once-close friend Malcolm X is being sold off. The seven-page draft praises controversial Nation of Islam leader Elijah Muhammad, while calling other leaders weak. Ali and Malcolm X met in 1962, and were close until they fell out after Malcolm X denounced Elijah and left the Nation of Islam.
