Set for release next month, Green Day will drop their latest studio album, Father of All Mother F***ers. Speaking to Kerrang! about the just over 26-minute long studio effort, Billie Joe Armstrong revealed that the inspiration for the title came from the world of heavy metal. “It’s just a badass title,” said the frontman, recalling how Slayer’s Kerry King once described their record, God Hates Us All, as “badass”. As for why Father Of All… will be so short, Armstrong admits, “If I’m listening to other people’s music, I always look at how long the song is. If it’s over three minutes I go, ‘Urgh, pass. I don’t wanna listen to that s**.'”
