Jack White Honors Eddie Van Halen on ‘SNL’

The tributes continue for Van Halen guitarist Eddie Van Halen, most recently from Jack White on Saturday Night Live.

White performed while playing a signature Eddie Van Halen guitar. White said on Instagram on Saturday, “I thought it could be a nice gesture for me to use this blue Eddie Van Halen model guitar for one of my songs tonight on SNL.”

In the same post, White pointed out that the guitar was made specifically for his needs. “Eddie was very kind to me and saw to it that this guitar was made to my specs,” he said.

He played this specific model while performing the song “Lazaretto.”
