Lumineers’ Fraites Covers Nirvana

Jeremiah Fraites is honoring Kurt Cobain.

The Lumineers member released his new solo piano cover of Nirvana‘s “Heart-Shaped Box” today on the anniversary of Kurt Cobain‘s 1994 suicide.

The song will be on Fraites’ upcoming solo EP, which is due out on April 16th.

The project is a companion to Fraites’ debut solo album, “Piano Piano.”

What song do you think should be covered by a newer band?
