A new Papa Roach album is on the way in 2022 and it’s going to have a LOT of songs.
Bassist Tobin Esperance recently said in an interview that the band had no intention of putting a full album out until the pandemic hit. Then, they got to work.
“We were, like, ‘Let’s not be too precious about everything,” Esperance said. “Let’s put out pretty much everything that we’ve written. Let’s just put it out on a record.’ And that’s what we’re doing. But we narrowed it down to 14 songs.”
“But still, 14 songs is a lot, especially for the attention span of people these days,” Esperance added.

Do you think 14 songs is a lot for an album? Did you do anything to stay busy during the beginning of the pandemic?
