Coming up on November 13th, the world will get to hear what I guess could be considered a “new” Nirvana record.  Kind of…

Universal Music is set to release the “Montage Of Heck” soundtrack, which will be available as a 13 track CD or vinyl, or a DELUXE 31 track CD containing even more Cobain recordings not good enough to become Nirvana songs.  I mean, that’s really what we’re dealing with here right?  Stuff that didn’t make the cut.  But it’s still fascinating to hear, knowing that for the past 20 years these songs have been hidden away in a box somewhere.

To be fair, Brett Morgen, the director of the film has been very vocal about the fact that these are NOT Nirvana songs, but instead  “will feel like you’re kind of hanging out with Kurt Cobain on a hot summer day in Olympia, Washington as he fiddles about”

A man is playing country music on the fiddle.

DID SOMEONE SAY FIDDLE?!  YEEE HAW!!

As far as I know, there are no fiddles involved, but Kurt was kinda f’ed up sometimes so ya never know.  What we DO know is that one track is a cover of The Beatles song “And I Love Her” which was sent to us this week!  Give it a listen by clicking on the link below, and let us know what you think.

Montage Of Heck is on BluRay and DVD, November 6th, and both versions of the Soundtrack will be out a week later.
