Scott Weiland Completely Butchers 'Vasoline' At A Texas Show

The video clearly shows Weiland singing off-key and staring blankly as he fumbles around the stage.

Fans didn’t quite get the performance they were hoping for from former Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland at a show in Texas this week.

Video of The Wildabouts playing STP’s hit “Vasoline” was posted to YouTube, and drew some negative feedback from fans. The video clearly shows Weiland singing off-key and staring blankly as he fumbles around the stage.

Weiland’s rep told TMZ it was a mix of alcohol, a faulty earpiece and lack of sleep.

Weiland says he wasn’t high on drugs during the show, according to TMZ.

What do you think about the performance?
