West Virginia Offering Guns, Trucks, And $1.5 Million To Residents As Vaccine Incentive

West Virginia is loading up a bunch of new incentives for its residents to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

On Tuesday, Governor Jim Justice announced more prizes in the state’s lottery for West Virginians who have been fully vaccinated.

The list now includes $1.5 million, custom hunting rifles, full scholarships to colleges in West Virginia, custom-outfitted trucks, and weekend vacations at state parks.

Gov. Justice said he hopes the incentives will push people to get the vaccine. “The faster we get people across the finish line the more lives we save.”
