Rock singer Meat Loaf collapsed on stage during a concert in Edmonton, Alberta, in Canada on Thursday night and was taken to a hospital in unknown condition. The 68-year-old had canceled two other concerts in recent days — in Moose Jaw on Saturday and in Calgary on Tuesday — citing ill health. Lindsay Sundmark, a fan who attended the concert, told the Edmonton Journal she saw Meat Loaf collapse.

Dustin Diamond owes $94K in back taxes
Former “Saved by the Bell” star Dustin Diamondowes the state of Wisconsin nearly $94,000 in back taxes. The state Department of Revenue website for delinquent taxpayers shows that Diamond owes $93,768. Diamond, who played Screech on the popular 1990s television show, was convicted last year in Wisconsin on charges he stabbed a man during a bar brawl on Christmas 2014. He was sentenced to 120 days in jail and released on probation in April.

Former Miss North Dakota found dead in Minneapolis home
A former Miss North Dakota was found dead Tuesday in her Minneapolis home. The Minneapolis Star Tribune reported that police were called to Samantha M. Edwards’ home at around 7:30 a.m. and discovered her body. Edwards, 37, was crowned Miss North Dakota USA in 2003. Investigators are waiting on the Hennipin County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of her death, Minneapolis police spokesman John Elder said.
