‘Alien Nation’ Remake in the Works With ‘Iron Man’ Writers
Alien Nation, the late 1980s sci-fi movie produced by Gale Anne Hurd, is getting the remake treatment by Twentieth Century Fox. Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, best known for their work on the first Iron Man movie, are writing the script for the project, which at this stage has no producer on board.
Seth Rogen’s sci-fi comedy ‘Future Man’ is Hulu-bound
Seth Rogen is working on a new comedy series called Future Man, which has just been picked up for broadcast on Hulu. The show, which Rogen is working on alongside Evan Goldberg, follows a janitor (Josh Hutcherson) who just happens to be a gamer by night (of course, let’s portray someone who enjoys games as a “loser,” how original). When he’s visited by otherworldly beings, he’s asked to travel through time to prevent humanity’s extinction. Same old song and dance we’ve heard several times over, especially in countless anime and comic series.

At a press conference for his upcoming novel Jerusalem, theWatchmen creator told The Guardian that he had “about 250 pages of comics left” in him, and that, after completing his next few project, he’s “pretty much done.”
