3D printing could be the answer to the housing shortage, some experts believe.

Habitat for Humanity has just built its first two 3D-printed homes in Tempe Arizona – 1,200 square foot properties that were built in just 12 hours.

They believe the technology could produce millions of homes cheaply and effectively – cutting down on both time and labor costs.

The U.S. is currently experiencing a housing shortage of roughly 4 million homes, according to the White House.

Would you live in a 3D-printed home? How else could 3D printing technology be put to use?
