Two years ago, Lincoln revived their Continental brand and now they’re bringing back a feature that hasn’t been seen on their cars since the 1960s. The 2019 Lincoln Continental will feature “coach doors” on the limited edition run of 80 vehicles to celebrate the model’s 80th birthday. Known unofficially then as “suicide doors,” the luxury automaker has updated the rear-hinged side door with safety in mind. This kind of nostalgia won’t come cheap though. When the Black Label-approved cars hit showrooms next summer, Lincoln says to expect a price tag upwards of $100,000.
