Red Hot! Drone Footage Captures Incredible Close-Up Views Of Icelandic Volcano

For the first time in 800 years, a volcano near Iceland’s capital city has erupted and drone footage captured the remarkable images.

The video was recorded by aerial photographer Bjorn Steinbekk.

It shows red molten lava flowing like a river from the erupting volcano.

The drone then nears the spout of the volcano and captures the moment lava spews out of it.

Scientists say a series of small earthquakes in the past several weeks caused the eruption.

Do you have a drone? What’s the best thing you’ve caught on camera so far?
