Besides My Chemical Romance’s reunion, 2019 was also big for Gerard Way’s other project. According to stats released by Netflix, The Umbrella Academy adaptation of the frontman’s comic was one of the most-watched shows on the streaming site, clocking in at ninth overall among everything released last year. When looking at just TV shows, the series came in at third, just behind Stranger Things and The Witcher. The Umbrella Academy season two just finished filming back in November with an expectation of a mid-year release.
