The US Women’s National Team did more than just win their second World Cup championship in a row, they won the television ratings. Sunday’s US-Netherlands final drew 20% more US viewers than last year’s men’s World Cup final, according to Nielsen. 27% of all of the televisions in the United States were tuned in to the game. It was one of the highest-rated televised games in the history of soccer.
