Alas, we will never have a The White Stripes reunion, so anything thrown our way from Jack White will be remnants of the great two piece. Today Mr. White announced the release of “Jack White Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016.” The album will consist of 26 tracks and released on September 9th. There will be alternate versions, mixes and previously unreleased material from Jack White projects, The Raconteurs, The White Stripes and his solo material.
This track, “City Lights” was written for The White Stripes during their “Get Behind Me Satan” sessions (arguably the best album from the Stripes)
