A new survey shows that half of the new guitar players in the U.S and the U.K are women. The survey was conducted by famous guitar maker Fender. The guitar maker said that prominent female artists who play guitar including Taylor Swift, St. Vincent and indie bands like Warpaint and Bully have led to more women picking up the instrument.
