It looks like Slipknot is teaming up with their old producer Ross Robinson for their new album – or possibly teaming up with his dog. A Slipknot fan on reddit noticed a familiar pooch in a studio pic shared by guitarist Alessandro Venturella – a dog that appears to belong to Robinson, who produced Slipknot’s self-titled debut and their 2001 album Iowa. Frontman Corey Taylor said last month that the new material reminded him of Iowa.
The album is planned for sometime next year.
