Boner Candidate #1: THEY DIDN’T RAISE THEIR SON RIGHT

George Zimmerman appears to have decided he hasn’t caused enough pain yet to the parents of the teenager he killed four years ago. In an interview with the Daily Beast, Zimmerman said Trayvon Martin’s mother and father were bad parents who should “have an internal dialogue to see what they should have done better” in raising their 17-year-old son, whom Zimmerman shot dead during a struggle in Sanford, Fla. “They didn’t raise their son right. He attacked a complete stranger and attempted to kill him,” he said. Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin did everything they could to capitalize on [their] son’s death. She was never a mother figure to him. Tracy Martin couldn’t have cared less about their son. He treated him like a dog without a leash.” Zimmerman, who was controversially acquitted of murder, described the 9mm pistol he’s auctioning off as the tool he used to “save my life from a near-death brutal attack.” He said he decided to sell the gun after praying, and he plans to use the money to make civilians and law enforcement officers affected by the “fraudulent” Black Lives Matter campaign “wealthy beyond their wildest imaginations.”

Boner Candidate #2: THEY’LL NEVER FIND MY METH HERE

An Iowa City man is facing drug charges after police say he left methamphetamine and other paraphernalia in the back of a squad car after being arrested Sunday. Michael J. Roe, 59, of the 1000 block of North Summit Street, was arrested Sunday night after police say he was yelling and banging on the door of a home in Coralville’s Western Hills Mobile Estates neighborhood. According to Coralville police complaints, officers were told Roe had a revolver and threatened to beat up the two residents and destroy a motorcycle. One victim said Roe was twirling the gun on his finger and making threats to harm him and shoot up his residence, according to police. The gun was later found to be a silver revolver type Airsoft pistol, police said. After officers transported Roe to the Johnson County Jail, they found a black bag in the backseat of a police squad car, where Roe had been sitting, that contained 10 grams of methamphetamine, a digital scale, a bag containing a leafy green substance, as well as pills and unused baggies. Police said the car smelled of marijuana after Roe got in it, and the smell persisted until the bag was found.

Four Greenville County middle school girls have been charged and a boy arrested after the sexual assault of a female student who was drunk was recorded, according to Greer police. The female students are charged with disturbing school and possession of child porn, police said.  Master Deputy Drew Pinciaro said the 14-year-old boy is charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct.  Greenville County Schools spokeswoman Beth Brotherton confirmed that the 14-year-old attends Ralph Chandler Middle School. Police said the eighth grade student was sexually assaulted at a house in Greenville County over the weekend. Police said a FaceTime call was done between several students and another student video recorded the FaceTime conversation.   One of the students from Riverside Middle sent the video to others, police said. Some students at Riverside Middle began showing the video to other students on Monday, police said.  A student who saw the video reported it to the school’s eighth grade counselor, police said. Several students have been interviewed and about 10 cell phones have been seized, police said.  As of Wednesday afternoon, interviews were still being conducted.
