Conan O’Brien is leaving his late-night TV home for the streaming world.
He’ll be ending his late-night TBS show next year and moving to HBO Max, where he’ll host a “weekly variety series”, according to Warner Media.
In a statement, O’Brien said he’s “thrilled” to be “doing whatever the hell it is I do on HBO Max”, and that “I look forward to a free subscription.”
Conan O’Brien will end #Conan on TBS next June. O’Brien has also signed a deal with HBO Max for a new weekly variety series, though no premiere date has been set https://t.co/UGcPU5U8b8 pic.twitter.com/YifhRnA1JZ
