Ignoring state coronavirus restrictions, more than 700 New Jersey residents turned out for a huge party Sunday at an Airbnb rental house, police say. The massive gathering, which had been advertised as a “Mansion Party” on flyers that were distributed throughout the area, occurred in Jackson, police say. After receiving complaints from neighbors, officers arrived at about 8:30 p.m. to find the unmasked partygoers ignoring social distancing regulations. Plus, the number of attendees far exceeded the 50-person social gathering limit set by Governor Phil Murphy, according to the Jackson Police Department.
A flyer advertised on Instagram billed the event as a “Liberian Independence Day” party. 700 people showed up. https://t.co/mBiBH1MTj9

Officers say it took more than four hours to get everyone to leave. Summonses have been issued for the homeowner, 40-year-old Yaakov Weiss, as well as party organizers Patience Guanue, 23, and Alicia Hinneh, 22, prosecutors say.
