• Okilly Dokilly at Urban Lounge
You’re favorite Christian, cartoon neighbor’s very own tribute band drops into Salt Lake for a stop to share their uplifting music wherein the lyrics are all made up of things Ned Flanders has said. Talk about limiting yourself. This is a 21+ show. Believe it or not, they’ve been around since 2015.
• Coin at The Depot
Of all the shows tonight, this is the one you should be going to. Nashville-ian, indie-poppers his audio paydirt with 2016’s “Talk Too Much” and have a new track out in the ether called “I Want It All” that you may have heard on X96 Xposed and IPO.
• Oliver Tree at The Complex
Self-proclaimed (I think) professional scooter rider our of Santa Cruz and one of our favorite new artists is performing a sold-out show at The Depot. If you were listening during our new music weekend, you no doubt heard “Hurt.” Hot ticket here! Hot ticket!
• Mushroomhead at The Royal
You don’t hear much about industrial music these days, do you? Well, don’t worry! The Madness and Mayhem Tour arrives at The Royal to rind you with Hellazapoppin’ Circus Sideshow, Bentana, and Worldwide Panic. How about that? 21+
• The Masquerade Party at The Falls Event Center
This event is exactly like the G-Rated cut of “Eyes Wide Shut” so don’t fear it. It’s actually a benefit for the Utah Arts Festival with casino games, music, dancing, adult drinks, and silent auction. Make you mask or buy one there. There’s a prize for best mask and to be honest, it’s an Arts Festival Benefit! You really should create something.
• 29th Annual Utah Aids Foundation Red Carpet Gala and Oscar’s Viewing Party at The Gateway
Dress up all fancy and watch this year’s host-less Acadamy Awards while enjoying dinner and a silent auction for this great cause. “All of the funds raised at the Gala stay right here in Utah to support people living with HIV and help prevent new HIV Infections through prevention and PrEP services.” See! Great cause!
